Kardemir Haddecilik San ve Tic. Ltd Şti, with its first production facility established in Denizli province of Aegean region in 1968. Kardemir, has started importing and exporting since 2001 and has been taking firm steps forward for more than 50 years.
It has taken its place among the leading companies of the domestic and international steel industry with its long products, Profile, Merchant bars, Rebars, Wire rod and Billet products with its more than 2,000 employees, 5 production lines and an annual production capacity of over 3,000,000 tons in the long product group.
As of September 2021, its title was changed to Kardemir Çelik Sanayi Anonim Şirketi, together with the Meltshop facility
Kardemir, has 2 production facilities for Rolling ; One in Denizli, was established in 1968 in 8.000 m2 closed area with 1 production line , and another one in Izmir since 1998, with 2 production lines in 30.000 m2 closed area; still runs on total 65,000 m2 field for the production and stocking of all sections from small to medium and large, Low carbon, if requested alloyed (with boron), Hot Rolled Steel Merchant bars and Profiles.
In addition , the Phase-1 Investment was completed in a short period of 18 months in our Meltshop Integrated Production Facility, the foundation of which was laid on 30 August 2020 on a 165,000 m2 land, and the first casting was carried out on 13 May 2022.
In our Phase-1 Investment commissioned, Turkiye's First GIS and Switchgear Facility with a power of 400,000 Mw, 120 MVAr SVC Facility. Billet Production Line with an Annual Capacity of 1,200,000 Tonsper year. Carbon Facility with an Annual Capacity of 30,000 Tons/year . 5.500 NM3 Oxygen and 3000 NM3 Nitrogen per Hour in our Oxygen Facility , 160 NM3 Argon is produced and there is also a Water Treatment Facility where more than 100 pumps are used and a Dust Collection Facility to Protect the Environment.
As of December 2022, in our Wire Rod and Rebar production line, namely Phase-2 investment, annual production of 500,000 Tons of Wire Rod and 200,000 Tons of Rebar has been started.
Within our facilities fully equipped with the advanced technology, producing approximately 2000 standard sizes and grades and additionally special or non-standard dimensions and grades demanded by customers. Expanding our production range each semester with the new products and sizes, we propose ‘all from one’ by supplying our wide range from one source to our customers and become an internationally preferred brand in global steel sector
